These vehicles will be driven by uniformed chauffeurs to complement the occasion. Ribbons and bows will be provided as described below and, unless otherwise directed, a silk flower arrangement will be provided for the rear window.

General Matters
Ribbons will normally be supplied in white. Other colours may be obtained by special request, or provided by the hirer, so please speak to us if you have any particular requirements.
A sample of the above can be provided on request.

Silk flowers in white will be supplied, additional flowers will be added to the display complementing your colour scheme where possible.

While we have no objection to confetti, other forms of “decoration” (i.e. tin cans, shaving foam etc.) are not permitted. We expect these special vehicles to be treated with the respect that they deserve.

When completing the journey schedule, please remember that sufficient time should be allowed. Please telephone for guidance if necessary. If some details of the wedding plan schedule have yet to be decided, please give a rough parameters to enable a block time to be booked, and the rest can be completed later. For your peace of mind, it is our normal aim that the car(s) should arrive at the first pick up point about ten minutes before the stated journey time.

If an additional journey is required for the bridesmaids etc., this will normally be accommodated without extra charge, subject to distance and the suitability of the car. However, many hirers prefer to use a different car for this purpose to maximise upon the arrival of the bride.

The maximum number of passengers for each car is four. Assuming that the distance is not to great, we are happy to complete more than one journey if requested, but please do not ask us to exceed these numbers, as to do so invalidates insurance cover.

Please advise us of any special factors such as passengers with disabilities, or traffic wardens with a nasty disposition. We will endeavour to accommodate all with professionalism and good humour.

Damage to any vehicle of Occasions Wedding Car Hire, caused by our clients or guests, while being transported, will be charged at the full repair costs. Any likely loss of revenue from the said vehicle not being available to fulfill other obligations will also be charged. If additional cleaning to the interior of any of the vehicles is required, caused by passengers, a charge of £50 will be levied.

Payment. A deposit of £50 (fifty pounds) for each car is payable at the time of booking. The balance of the hire monies is payable one month before the hire date. In the event of cancellation, the deposit is not refundable, although consideration will be given to a partial refund if the car can subsequently be hired elsewhere. If cancellation takes place less than one month before the date of the booking (or if you fail to notify us of cancellation), then the whole amount will be deemed payable. Please note that, due the sharp rise in processing costs, payment by credit/debit cards can no longer be accepted.

Substitution. In the unlikely event that your chosen car, for reasons outside our control, is unfit for use on the day, the liability of “Occasions” will not extend beyond a full refund of monies paid to us. We will, however, make every effort to arrange a suitable substitute.
